What a humbling experience! We were contacted by KSAT news to inquire if we wanted to participate in an up-cycling challenge within the Home and Garden show and of course we said YES! The challenge was to only use products and pieces from Habitat for Humanity and maybe add a little flare, of course. So, we partnered with Habitat for Humanity to pick and choose from an assortment of donated furniture to restore and use any products they had in store to design a space with the Home and Garden show.
So, we chose to reupholster a set of chairs, revamp a coffee table and restore a table. We called it "The Boho Book nook". The amount of work put into this project was grand and the rewards, even better. Unfortunately, the competition fell thru but we were still able to showcase our talents as a restoration company.
